Full and partial rewires for period homes and modern properties, carried out to BS 7671 with minimal disruption.
Wiring does not last forever. Old rubber or fabric insulated cables, a lack of earthing and circuits that were never designed for modern appliances are common in London homes, and they are a genuine fire and shock risk. A rewire replaces the cables, accessories and protection so your property is safe for decades to come.
Powerline Group carries out full and partial rewires across London, from Victorian terraces and Georgian townhouses to flats and new builds. Every rewire is carried out by NICEIC approved electricians, is BS 7671 compliant and is notified under Part P of the Building Regulations.
A full rewire replaces everything and is often done during a renovation or before moving in. A partial rewire replaces only the circuits that need it, such as a kitchen or an extension. We test the existing installation first and recommend only the work that is genuinely needed.

Yes. You receive an Electrical Installation Certificate with the test results, and the work is notified to building control under Part P.
Often, yes. We talk you through how the work will be planned before we start, so you know what to expect.
Warning signs include old fuse boxes, round pin sockets, scorch marks and frequent tripping. An EICR will tell you for certain.
